LOS ANGELES (Billboard) – Eminem’s “Recovery” led the U.S. pop album chart for a fourth week on Wednesday, thanks to his latest hit single.

The album sold 195,000 copies during the week ended July 18, taking its total to 1.5 million. He becomes the first artist to log a four-week stretch at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 since Susan Boyle began a six-week stint in November.

No doubt “Recovery’s” continued success is aided by its hit single “Love The Way You Lie” (featuring Rihanna), which will take the No. 1 spot when the Hot 100 is published Thursday.

It will mark the first back-to-back Hot 100 chart-toppers of his career. The album’s first single, “Not Afraid,” went to No. 1 in May. In all, Eminem has topped the Hot 100 four times.

The highest debut on the Billboard 200 — and first of six entries in the top 10 — came from Korn’s “Korn III – Remember Who You Are,” which started at No. 2 with 63,000. The rock band’s last album, 2007’s “Untitled,” debuted and peaked at No. 2 with 123,000 sold in its first week.

Newsboys notched its best showing on the Billboard 200 as “Born Again” bowed at No. 4 with 45,000 — the Christian act’s highest sales week since SoundScan began tracking data in 1991. The act has never risen higher than No. 28 with “In the Hands of Good” in 2009.

Pop veteran Sting debuted at No. 6 with “Symphonicities,” an album’s worth of Sting and Police songs classically reinvented by noted composers and performed with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. The set sold 36,000 copies.

Country newcomer Jerrod Niemann came in at No. 7 with “Judge Jerrod & the Hung Jury,” selling 34,000 in its opening week. The album was sale-tagged for less than $7 at both Best Buy and Wal-Mart.

Rock super group Hellyeah charged in at No. 8 after selling 28,000 copies of its second album “Stampede.” The act consists of Chad Gray and Greg Tribbett (both of Mudvayne), Vinnie Paul (Pantera), Tom Maxwell (Knives Out! and Nothingface) and Bob Zilla (Damageplan).

The final arrival in the top 10 came from M.I.A.’s “Maya,” starting at No. 9 with 28,000. Her last set, 2007’s “Kala,” started at No. 18 with 29,000 copies.

As for the rest of the top 10, Drake’s “Thank Me Later” slipped one to No. 3 (50,000), Justin Bieber’s “My World 2.0″ held at No. 5 (41,000) and the soundtrack to “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” slid six to No. 10 (28,000).

Overall album sales totaled 5.21 million units, down less than 1% compared to the previous week, and down 23% compared to the comparable sales week of 2009. Year to date album sales stand at 164.4 million, down 12% compared to the same total at this point last year.

A musical tribute to late Gospel veteran Walter Hawkins will be televised via GMC, the Gospel Music Channel !

According to the network, the special tribute, featuring some of Gospel music’s best, will air this Sunday, July 25, 2010 at 8pm ET.

Guests including BeBe Winans, Mary Mary, and Yolanda Adams will participate, honoring the life and achievements of the Gospel legend.

Rihanna is getting back to her roots with the lead single from her next album.

Confirmed by reps Wednesday, the as-yet-untitled album’s next single will be the next piece of music to come from the “Rated R” star, who will not release a follow up to singles like “Rude Boy,” “Te Amo” and “Rockstar 101″.

“She loves her fans and is trying to make the best album possible,” says her label SRP. “It will be a return to her pop roots but will have enough variety to please all her “true fans.”"

“Rated R,” her last album, was released in November of 2009.

“Lately” music video from Billy Ray Cyrus’ band Brother Clyde has been made public without any appearance from the group’s members. Instead, it features what happened lately in the world, showing massive flood, earthquake and hurricane destroying the earth. It is not only about natural disaster but also shows that some destructions are caused by human, such as oil spill and war.

“I thought it was quintessential to this video not to have any band performance … no pictures of my face,” Billy Ray explained to The Boot. “It’s about the world, the human race and Mother Earth. We wanted the video to stay in that realm. We were looking at everything that’s happened lately — the earthquake in Haiti, the floods in Tennessee, the oil spill — there was stuff on the news every single day that reflects more and more what ‘Lately’ is about.”

“Lately” is taken from Brother Clyde’s forthcoming first studio album “Brother Clyde” which enlists Trace Cyrus and Dolly Parton as featured guests. The self-titled effort is to come out in United Sta

T.I. has filmed a music video for his new single “Got Your Back” and is going to premiere it sometime soon. In anticipation of that, the Atlanta rapper offers a sneak peek which features his collaborator Keri Hilson.

“Got Your Back” is expected to make the cut to T.I.’s first post-prison studio album “King Uncaged” which reportedly is due for September 28 U.S. release. The music video, meanwhile, is planned to be premiered on MTV Jams this coming Thursday, July 22.

T.I. explained about the song to Jamie Foxx in an interview, “[It's] basically just me showing my appreciation to all the ladies who got they man’s back in the world, acknowledging the one who had my back and acknowledging the ones that got they man’s back at the same time.”

Beside Keri Hilson, T.I. will also hook up with Lady GaGa, Eminem, Trey Songz, B.o.B and The-Dream.

Drake allows fans to get a behind-the-scene glimpse of his “Fancy” music video which is promised to include “great performance” scenes with T.I. and Swizz Beatz. Since the clip is made to “make women feel special,” the Canadian rapper of course also brought the ladies in it.

“For me, there’s a lot of pressure, because I feel like he’s creating music from a place that’s so pure and so unique and so original,” director Anthony Mandler told MTV. “It pushes me to try to create imagery that stands in the same zone.”

Drake also raved about the music video director, “Me and Anthony shot ‘Over’ together, and for the first time, I really felt like, ‘This is how I’m supposed to look.’ From there, it’s sorta been like an inseparable bond.”

Also offering his comment was T.I. who said, “I’m honored, privileged and absolutely pleased to be a part of this extravaganza that you are witnessing before you here today.”

“Fancy” is a song appearing in Drake’s debut album “Thank Me Later”. The music video is yet to have any premiere date.

From collaborating with Ludacris and Sean Kingston to receiving a nod from Lil Wayne and The Game, Justin Bieber continues to being embraced by Hip-Hop community. Most recently, he hit studio with top-notch producer/rapper Dr. Dre.

While many people are lining up to have a session with Dre, Bieber received a front-of-the-line pass to meet the DJ. “Got to be in the studio with the legend himself Dr. Dre…made a couple beats and he gave me some advice,” the Canadian teen pop star wrote on Twitter Tuesday, July 20. “I was hyped. can u blame me?”

Justin Bieber is currently touring across North America to promote his latest studio album “My World 2.0″. As for Dr. Dre, he is working on a new effort “Detox” and preparing to release a Jay-Z-assisted single “Under Pressure”.

Amy Winehouse has said that she will release her next studio album no later than January next year.

The singer told Metro that the album would echo the sound of 2006’s huge-selling ‘Back To Black’, her last release.

“The album will be six months at the most,” she said. “It’s going to be very much the same as my second album, where there’s a lot of jukebox stuff and songs that are… just jukebox, really.”

She added: “I just can’t wait to have some new songs on stage, really.”

Amy Winehouse made a live comeback of sorts recently, playing on stage with Mark Ronson at London’s 100 Club.

After making cameos in other artists’ music videos, Bruno Mars finally appears in his own clip. Directed by Nick Bilardello and Cameron Duddy to support his single “The Other Side”, the video was filmed in Los Angeles when he was in town to do a photoshoot.

“The Other Side” features B.o.B and Cee-Lo. The song appears in Bruno’s first mini album “It’s Better If You Don’t Understand” which contains four tracks and has been on sale since May this year.

Prior to that, Bruno Mars has burned Billboard Hot 100 with two singles in which he lends his vocal. The 24-year-old singer/songwriter reached the No. 1 position on the U.S. singles chart with B.o.B’s “Nothin’ on You” and then climbed to No. 4 with Travis McCoy’s “Billionaire”.

Following a previously-released teaser, Ne-Yo fully unveils two music videos for his singles “Beautiful Monster” and “Champagne Life”. Making their way out on BET, both of the clips were filmed back to back and are directed by Wayne Isham with the scripts written by Ne-Yo himself.

In the first video which co-stars Columbus Short, John Silver, Cliff McGhee and Galen Hooks, Ne-Yo is facing off a “Beautiful Monster” to save the world. “[It] is one piece of a very long and intricate story,” he said. “When you see the first video, make sure that you’re paying attention because all of the videos tell a story. So pay attention – you don’t want to miss nothing.”

It is then revealed in the “Champagne Life” video that Ne-Yo and the female villain have history together. He was romantically linked to her before she was turned into Diamond Eye, a “crazy, psycho mass-murderer.”

Both songs are expected to make the cut in Ne-Yo’s upcoming fourth studio project “Libra Scale” which is eyed to hit the U.S. market on September 21.
